The Coach house restaurant is a 17th century former coaching house recently transformed into a 50 cover, fine-dining restaurant, The Coach House features handmade artisan furniture and a theatrical kitchen window which gives diners an opportunity to see Head Chef James Mason and his team of talented chefs at work.

Upstairs, the beautiful lounge is the perfect setting for a pre-dinner drink, after-dinner digestive or a relaxing coffee, whilst the pretty outside terrace offers a charming setting for al-fresco dining during the summer months.

Michael’s team in the kitchen with James Mason at the helm focuses on seasonality and fresh produce utilising the bounty of North Devon and the South West to create dishes based on his signature cuisine, The Coach House serves a two and three course lunch menu, a la carte choice menu or a six-course tasting menu.

The celebrated restaurant was awarded three AA Rosettes in 2017 and is a testament to the cuisine served by the team at the Coach house.
