Top Chefs at Lympstone Manor for Trencherman’s Event

Some of the UK’s top chefs descended on Lympstone Manor earlier this month to celebrate the 25th edition of the Trencherman’s Guide. The Guide showcases the most exquisite dining locations and experiences in the South West and is now in its 25th year.

Alongside editor, Jo Rees, the event was hosted at Lympstone Manor by Michael who also cooked one of the courses. The diners attending the event enjoyed an eight-course dinner with matching wines and cocktails on arrival prepared by some of the region’s most acclaimed chefs including Hywel Jones of Lucknam Park, Chris Eden at The Driftwood in Cornwall and Anton Piotrowski who held a Michelin star at The Treby Arms in Plympton.

Each of the chefs who cooked at the event have been represented in the Guide since the beginning. Editor Jo Rees says of the Trencherman’s Guide, ‘ For 25 years, the Trencherman’s Guide has revealed exceptional places to dine and stay in the Westcountry.
