Trifle Martini
It looks great and tastes like a good old fashioned trifle just like your mum used to make. But beware, this ‘trifle’ has a real kick.
25ml Drambuie Cream
15ml Medium Sherry
10ml Disaronno
8 raspberries
Dash sugar syrup
Fresh raspberries to garnish
Muddle raspberries in cocktail shaker then shake with ice all ingredients. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with fresh raspberries.
White Winter
Are you dreaming of a white Christmas? It's rare that we get snow way down in Devon. But here's the next best thing: a frosty and delicious seasonal cocktail that's guaranteed to drive away the winter blues.
1 measure of Finlandia Vodka
1 measure of Kaluha
2 measures of Drambuie Cream
1 measure of double cream (optional)
Ice cubes
Place the ice cubes into a shaker. Pour the Vodka, Kaluha and Drambuie Cream over the ice and shake until a frost forms. Put some ice cubes into an old-fashion tumbler glass and strain the cocktail over them and then serve with a straw. Optional- Float 1 measure of double cream on top of the ice. Garnish with few coffee beans.
Celebrate!
Champagne Cocktails
Using Champagne as a base for a cocktail, you might think, is rather akin to gilding gold. On the other hand, why not? Champagne cocktails are undoubtedly the most decadent, sexiest, sleekest and most exhilarating tipples around.
The Mimosa
Like mimosa itself, this champagne cocktail is delightfully light, fresh, and tastes of summer.
50 ml Freshly squeezed orange juice
15 ml Grand Marnier
Top up with MC Champagne
Orange peel to garnish
Prepare the orange peel garnish by wrapping around a skewer in order to form into a spiral.
Add freshly squeezed orange juice to a champagne flute (fill to about a quarter or to taste). Add a half measure of Grand Marnier. Top up with Michael Caines Champagne. Garnish with the lemon peel.
Regatta
1/2 measure Galliano
1/2 measure Cointreau
1/2 measure Finlandia Vodka
Squeeze of lemon juice
MC Champagne
Shake the Galliano, Cointreau, vodka and lemon juice on ice and strain into a Champagne flute. Then top up the flute with MC Champagne for a refreshing summer cocktail.
