The Michael Caines Restaurant and Champagne Bar at ABode Manchester, located in an atmospheric lower level dining room, serves exciting and innovative European cuisine utilising the best local and regional produce and ingredients from Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and surrounds. Executive Chef Ian Matfin, in consultation with Michael, has created an exciting range of menus for you to enjoy, including grazing, a la carte and tasting. The wine list has been carefully chosen to complement the cuisine, with a selection of excellent and excellent-value wines from both classic European vineyards as well as New World estates.

The Michael Caines dining experience
Start off with a flûte of Champagne in the sthylish Champagne Bar while
perusing the
à la carte menu that changes with the seasons before moving in to
the stunning dining room to enjoy your meal at your leisure. Or, if you're comfortable in bar, then order as many dishes as you like from the grazing menu.
"Amazing graze lunch"
Michael Caines has pioneered a 'grazing' concept for lunch,
a changing seasonal
menu that offers smaller portions of our à la carte
dishes, presented and served with the same Michael Caines style. This
'amazing graze' lunch gives a real taste of our high quality cuisine
at an excellent value price. Moreover, we respect the busy demands on
your time and guarantee to serve you lunch within one hour. Should time
not be an issue, then you are naturally invited to linger over your
meal as long as you like.
Tasting menu with wines
Each week, Executive Chef Ian Matfin, who was Michael's Head Chef at two-star Michelin Gidleigh Park, devises a special 7-course
tasting menu that includes both dishes from the a la carte as well
as Ian's special seasonal creations. This is a finely balanced, carefully
crafted menu that demonstrates the Michael Caines style of cooking most
wonderfully. Our sommeliers match each dish with a specially selected
wine to create the ultimate dining experience.
Early Dining
One of the most accessible ways to enjoy and experience Michael Caines
at ABode Manchester is to come along from 6-7pm to enjoy our special Early
Dining menu, a 2- or 3-course menu that changes weekly. This is
probably the best dining deal in the city!
